The crossover features a striking design, two 10.25-inch displays, a suite of driver assistance systems and a more comfortable interior. The Sonet Prime will complement the Kia Sonet already on the market—both models will be sold simultaneously.

Sales of the Kia Sonet Prime, a new model in the family of compact urban crossovers, are launching in Uzbekistan. The vehicle features a distinct design, expanded equipment and modern electronic systems while retaining its practical format and proven powertrain. Meanwhile, the Kia Sonet already familiar to the market will remain in the lineup: the two crossovers will be offered in Uzbekistan simultaneously.
Both versions are manufactured at the ADM Jizzakh plant using full-cycle CKD production, underscoring the high level of production localization and Kia's long-term plans for the Uzbek market.
A New Look in Kia's Current Design Language
The Sonet Prime features completely redesigned front and rear body sections. The model's appearance follows Kia's current design language: a grille with complex geometry is paired with Star Map LED lighting and Ice Cube fog lights.
At the rear, vertical lights are connected by an LED strip spanning the full width of the tailgate. A new bumper and an integrated spoiler complete the look.
The vehicle comes with 16-inch alloy wheels. Seven body colors are available for the Sonet Prime, along with two-tone options featuring a red or white body and a contrasting black roof.
Two Large Screens and Three Interface Languages
One of the main interior changes is the digital driver area. The instrument cluster and infotainment system feature 10.25-inch displays. The instrument cluster shows key information about the vehicle and the operation of driver assistance systems, while its appearance changes depending on the selected driving mode.
The infotainment system supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The interface is available in Uzbek, Russian and English.
Equipment also includes a Bose audio system with seven speakers and a subwoofer, wireless charging, USB-C and USB-A ports, climate control, Smart Key keyless access, a power sunroof and ambient interior lighting with selectable colors and operating modes.

More Comfort for Passengers
Changes also extend to the layout of the interior space. The rear seat cushion is 21 mm longer, while the new shape of the front seat backrests provides an additional 30 mm of knee room for second-row passengers.
The rear seats can be adjusted forward and backward, and their backrest angle can also be changed.
The driver's seat adjusts in six directions, four of them electrically. The front seats feature ventilation, which is particularly useful in hot weather.

A Suite of Driver Assistance Systems
The Sonet Prime features an ADAS suite of modern safety and driver assistance systems. FCA detects vehicles, two-wheeled transport and pedestrians; when a hazard arises, the system warns the driver and can automatically apply emergency braking if necessary. LKA responds to unintentional lane departures, while LFA helps keep the vehicle closer to the center of its lane. Driver Attention Warning (DAW) monitors fatigue and loss of concentration.
Front and rear parking sensors assist the driver when maneuvering. The crossover is also equipped with six airbags, ESC stability control, a TPMS tire pressure monitoring system, hill-start assist and hill-descent assist. Disc brakes are fitted to all four wheels.
A Proven Powertrain
In Uzbekistan, the Kia Sonet Prime will be offered with a naturally aspirated 1.5-liter gasoline engine producing 115 hp.
The engine is paired with an IVT continuously variable transmission and front-wheel drive. This combination is geared toward smooth driving in urban traffic and comfortable everyday use.
The shock absorber, spring and stabilizer settings have also been revised for the Sonet Prime. Additional sound-absorbing materials, changes to the floor lining and the design of the powertrain mounts help reduce noise and vibration levels inside the cabin.
Sales Launch in Uzbekistan
The Kia Sonet Prime is available at a price of 269 900 000 soums.
The vehicle is covered by an official warranty of 5 years or 150 000 km, whichever comes first.
Detailed information about the Kia Sonet Prime's equipment, pricing and purchase terms is available on Kia's official website in Uzbekistan and at the brand's dealerships.
