Kia Carens – a new version of the urban crossover MPV for Uzbekistan

On January 10, 2026, the official distributor of the Kia brand in Uzbekistan, the ADM group of companies, announced the launch of a new version of the Carens in the country's automotive market. The new model is intended to be the ideal solution for a large family where everyone values performance, comfort and safety.

The updated Kia Carens is inspired by the brand's “Opposites United” philosophy. This approach reflects Kia's progressive vision aimed at rethinking mobility – combining innovation, safety and convenience in response to the needs of today's customers.

The new Kia Carens represents a significant step forward compared with the previous generation and offers extensive improvements to its exterior, interior and equipment.

On the outside, the model has received a bold new design direction – completely reimagined front and rear ends that give the vehicle a more confident, SUV-like stance. A redesigned hood, a striking radiator grille, vertical LED lighting in the “Star Map” concept and LED MFR headlights in the “Ice Cube” concept create a distinctive front appearance. The new bumper design is accentuated by a substantial protective panel.

Elegant lights in the “Star Map” concept create a modern, dynamic rear appearance – an LED strip spans the full width of the body, as on flagship models. The wide tailgate is accentuated by a substantial trim panel, maintaining a consistent style with the front end.

New 17-inch crystal-shaped alloy wheels and updated roof rails give the model a finished look that reflects Kia's evolving design language, inspired by electric vehicles.

With an impressive wheelbase for its segment, the new Kia Carens provides passengers with exceptional space and comfort.

The vehicle's interior has been completely redesigned – it is dominated by a clean, refined design that creates a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The dashboard's attractive new shape gives the cabin a futuristic, high-tech character, while updated interior elements, including the door handles, enhance the overall impression of modernity and sophistication.

The dashboard is adorned with metallic inserts. Multicolor ambient lighting on the dashboard and the front and rear doors offers a choice of 64 colors. A versatile, intuitive multimedia and climate control panel is conveniently positioned in the center of the console.

The new panoramic display stands out. It combines a 12.3″ instrument cluster and a 12.3″ infotainment screen, creating an even more immersive effect. The multimedia system's interface has been fully translated into Uzbek.

A power sunroof creates a sense of openness, freedom and luxury, while ventilated first-row seats ensure comfortable travel even in the hottest weather.

A carefully considered powertrain lineup offers a choice: for the young and active, a dynamic 1.5 Turbo-GDI engine producing 160 hp at 5500 rpm paired with a 7-speed DCT, and for practical users, a reliable 1.5 MPI engine producing 115 hp at 6300 rpm paired with a CVT. The Drive Mode Select system helps further tailor the vehicle to the preferred driving style.

The model has also received an expanded range of technologies and features for comfort and safety. The advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) includes Smart Cruise Control (SCC) with Stop & Go, Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA) on straight roads, Lane Keeping Assist (LKA), Surround View Monitor (SVM) and a number of others.

The vehicle is equipped with six airbags: dual front airbags, front side airbags and curtain airbags.

A power-adjustable driver's seat, an electronic parking brake (EPB), Electronic Stability Control (ESC) and a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), Downhill Brake Control (DBC) and Hill-start Assist Control (HAC), front and rear parking sensors, disc brakes on all wheels and much more – all of these contribute to greater comfort, convenience and safety on everyday journeys.

In Uzbekistan, the Kia Carens will be available in 8 exterior colors, including the new ivory color (Ivory Silver Gloss). The interior features a combination of black trim in the central section and light-colored inserts in the upper and lower sections. The seats are upholstered in artificial leather. All materials have been selected with the user experience in mind and with great taste.

The updated Kia Carens comes with a long warranty – 5 years or 150 000 km (whichever comes first).
